STRANGE OCCURRENCES
Myron St.John has always been drawn to the paranormal and supernatural. Beside being a fan of Halloween, horror and sci-fi , ghost stories, the X-files and things that go bump in the night, he, at a young age, searched out, researched and investigated all things strange, ghostly, haunted and unknown.
St. John's experience is as diverse as is his career in show business. Producer, director, actor, writer, stuntman, singer, magician and entertainer.
As a singer and entertainer with one of the top show groups in the country touring most of the U.S. He had the number one 50's and 60's show group in Canada, He has also performed in Las Vegas. He was a bodyguard to television's Batman, Adam West. He was a magician starring in a large scale magic/horror illusion show " The Great Ghost Show" as Dr. Sikini. Later on as a showman and hypnotist presenting fund raising stunts "Buried Alive" and "Frozen Alive" which have toured all of the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He is a long standing member of the Society of American Magicians.
St. John has worked with numerous horror movie celebrities. In 2006 on the film set of 'Fallen Angels", PAS Stunts was formed with St. John, Kane Hodder, R.A. Mihailhoff and Rick McCallum. Designed to put the ‘horror in horror movies’, these four combined have played more ‘monsters, demons and maniacs’ then imaginable. Also on this film he was a producer, actor and stutman. "Fallen Angels" was released by Warner Brothers. He worked as stunt coordinator and actor on the “The Dead Matter”, stunt coordinator on "Sidewalk Singer" and host and producer of "Haunted X: Terrifying True Tales", a reality TV meets the Twilight Zone show.
St. John has also been the host of several PBS specials on the "haunted" Ohio State Reformatory, location to several films including 'The Shawshank Redemption'. These specials looked into the prison's ghost stories. The Reformatory is where he presented the spectacular 'Haunted Prison Experience' during the Halloween season for 15 years, an award winning haunted attraction which won “Haunt of the Year” honors in 2007 and 2010.
Currently owner and game designer of Escape Game Experience at the Shops at Fallen Timbers, Maumee, Ohio. Toledo's and NW Ohio's #1 premire escape room.
Through all this, Myron St. John, has continued to research, investigate and pursue the truth behind the paranormal and the unknown. This extensive knowledge of all things occult has garnered him an appointment to the prestigious S.A.M. Paranormal Investigation Commitee.
St.John has decided to bring this knowledge and expertise to the fore front with Strange Occurrences, a show that will challenge rational thinking. With his co-host Joshua Haze, they will bring a diverse and unique perspective from decades of experience to explore what really exsists.
The truth is, indeed, out there!
Joshua Haze was born and raised in Ohio. As a youngster he was fascinated with shows and books dealing with suspense and the unknown. Favorites were mysteries, adventure books and spooky themes. Alfred Hitchcock, The Twilight Zone, Steven King, The Hardy Boys, Tales from the Crypt and Unsolved Mysteries, to name a few...the list goes on. Stories that raised more questions than answers. Making you want to seek out more and find out why? What was it? Who did it?
Besides this, Joshua loved all things entertainment and pursued a 20 year long career working as an actor and a radio DJ. It was on many different stages and sets that he was privileged to work as an actor on some amazing TV shows and movies. He played 2 vampires on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, worked on the X Files episode "Signs and Wonders", plus Baywatch, Diagnosis Murder, Days of Our Lives... to name a few. Acted as a Chainsaw Massacre character at Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights. Around the U.S. he worked on various projects including the horror film Fallen Angels and the TV pilot, Haunted X: Terrifying True Tales!, both of which were filmed at the Ohio State Reformatory. Starred in Playhouse, a horror comedy about a haunted theater in Pittsburg, as well as playing the lead character Mike Talman, in one of his favorite stage productions, Wait Until Dark, based on the classic thriller, which originally starred Audrey Hepburn.
Throughout his life and career, Joshua states "I have always been fascinated by Strange Occurrences. Those moments in life you can't readily explain and gets your attention real fast. Seeing crazy, unusual things that raise the hair on the back of your neck. Hearing or feeling something...supernatural. Knowing there is more to this realm of reality than what we know. Finding and confirming proof of the other side. In my life, I have experienced things that will stick with me forever. They have made me look at life in a different way. They inspire me to want to learn, research and investigate more..." "I am excited to join my friend, Myron St. John, as we explore the unknown.
